Why terminal modules
Give field wiring the connectors and protection your panel needs.
Use terminal modules when spring-cage connectors are not enough—larger wire, isolation, status LEDs, relays, or higher-current transistor outputs.
Larger field wire
Screw terminal boards accept larger wire than the standard PLC spring-cage connectors—check the selected board datasheet for its full range.
Optocoupled isolation
Low- and high-voltage optocoupled input modules convert field signals and keep them electrically isolated from the PLC.
Relay switching
Choose isolated relays or three-per-common relay boards to switch AC or DC loads up to 5 A per channel.
Sinking or sourcing
Dedicated sinking and sourcing transistor modules provide optically isolated higher-power digital outputs.
Installation
Connect once, then wire the field side.
Each board includes a DIN-rail mount and a pre-terminated cable so the PLC side stays simple while the terminal side matches your panel wiring.
Plug into the PLC
Use the included pre-terminated cable to connect the terminal module to the matching Ace or Branch IO port.
Mount the board
Snap the board onto 35 mm DIN rail, or use the built-in mounts for #8 screws or bolts spaced one inch apart.
Wire the field side
Land field wiring on the screw terminals and leave the PLC-side connection on the prewired cable harness.
